Do you have trouble beginning, and staying, with your creative ideas?

As you’re here, you’re likely not creating as much as you’d like. This is completely normal, it’s not you. It is super frustrating, though, but I can help.

I understand deeply the pain and frustration of wanting to create, but not really getting anywhere

  • You dream of a more creative life, like some people you see online

  • You sort of know what you want to make, but you don’t seem to do it. Not because you can’t, but it’s hard to get started

  • The projects you do start, you rarely finish.

  • If only you were more organized and disciplined, you reckon you would create more

  • Underneath you’re worried about criticism

  • You’re beginning to doubt yourself

In a world of social perfection and AI efficiency, your emotional and imperfect creative voice is more needed than ever

THE SOLUTION

Lower the stakes and embrace the messy human creating process

This could sound like just a headline, but it’s creativity at its core.

Creativity is a human process and therefore full of personal feelings, triggers, emotions, expectations, and fears. It’s messy because it’s human!

So, how do you get over that?

You don’t. You work with it.
You’re not wrong, it’s that you probably haven’t found a way to navigate the messy process of creating.

That’s why I help you, not fix, but help you think differently about how your creating process can be.

This is my 3-step approach.

Imperfect small steps

The way you get started, and move forward, is by doing one tiny, imperfect step after another. If you feel resistance, your step is too big.

Lower the stakes

By lowering the stakes, you reassure your mind, there are no expectations for a change in identity, livelihood, fame or life changing fortune.

Compassion for yourself

You get to practice thinking of yourself and your creativity as your best friend, and as a sanctuary. Instead of fighting yourself, you turn to compassion when there’s resistance.

“Katja is kind and compassionate, she doesn't impose a rigid, one-size-fits-all way of doing things, and she actually helps you find your own way.

She also helps you navigate between your daily life and your creative project. ”

Danish based creativity coach, here to help you create more.

Hi, I’m Katja (pronounced catch-ya)

Why is it that so many of us don’t get ahead with the dreams and ideas we have?

From coaching creatives for more than a decade, I know it’s not lack of skills, or ideas, or things like motivation, discipline, or even structure, that is stops us from pursuing a creative dream, but it’s believing that what we can do, or want to do, isn’t enough.

Our expectations are often crazy high, so, we stay in the loop of refining, doubting, and restarting, and don’t get proper momentum.

My clients don’t share industry. What they have in common, apart from being seriously lovely, creative, and skilled women, is that the project or business they want to create, is one that makes our world a little better.

This work is not an easy, quick fix, it is a process, and it’s the most rewarding and meaningful process.

It also happens to be good for you. Bonus!
